Alex’s work on the Motorstorm series has always impressed and inspired the dev team. We hang it on the walls around the office and when the game is finished, take it home with us. He outdid himself on Motorstorm Apocalypse and his work served as a benchmark for the feel of the game we were trying to make right up to launch.

Not game related but this Alex Ross 30 Rock/League of Extraordinary Gentlemen mashup has just made my day.
Quite possibly my favorite thing that Alex Ross has ever done.
Microsoft Games Studios boss Phil Spencer told OXM at E3 that Halo 4 will “get back to what Halo is about” going on to point out that “Master Chief is the John Wayne character of that universe, and that’s who you want to play…Halo is a very story-driven, immersive experience, centred around Master Chief”.

Bollocks!

I can’t help but fall in love with the aesthetic of Bioshock. Against the violent backdrop of human disfiguring, genetic splicing, Machiavellian coups, eternal servitude of trapped souls, a Randian dystopia and brutal, bloody murder, I listen to this song and it perfectly, calmly balances the scales.

Vehicle handling has been fine-tuned for a better experience for the Supercar, Dirt Bike, Superbike, Racing Truck, Muscle Car and ATV.
And to top it off the multiplayer experience has been improved with lobbies and connection algorithm…science…stuff made even shinier. All in all, it’s a massive dose of awesome to give all the fans something new to chomp on. And how much will it cost? Oh yeah, nothing!
